Prerequisites

You are assigned to the Manager role or higher.

Proceed as follows

1. Click the Create Device Type button.
   → A new device type has been added.
   

2. Enter a name for the device type.

   The name cannot contain any uppercase letters and special characters, or start with a number. The name must be unique within the project.

3. Click the Create button.
   → The device type has been created and can be configured.
   

   The device type name is now listed under Label and can be changed if necessary.
